Meet Jessie
I began my career in Big Four public accounting, where I learned the discipline, precision, and work ethic that define strong financial foundations. I loved the pace, the challenge, and the high standards. The long hours. The constant push to be better. The expectation that details matter.
But over time, I realized something was missing.
Community.
Long before corporate accounting, I was introduced to bookkeeping through my family business. Growing up, I watched my grandmother manage the books for my dad’s company. It was not flashy or complicated, but it was essential. She knew the numbers, understood the business, and kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Seeing that responsibility handled with care left a lasting impression on me, even before I had words for it.
As I moved into public accounting, I gained technical expertise and a deeper understanding of how financial systems work at a high level. But I found myself drawn back to the kind of work I had seen growing up. Work that was personal. Work that supported real people, real families, and real livelihoods.
I grew up in a small town in North Florida, where small businesses were not just companies, they were neighbors. They shaped the rhythm of the community and supported the families around them. That perspective stayed with me and guided my path forward.
I carried those values to Stetson University, where I balanced Division I softball with my studies and earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy. Through athletics and academics, I learned leadership, discipline, service, and the importance of showing up consistently for the people who rely on you. Those lessons continue to shape how I serve my clients today.
